Pat Lapalapa Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a real estate team operating under Ray White AT Realty Limited (Ray White Manukau). We are committed to protecting your privacy and to handling your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide to us, such as your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Property information, such as the address and details of a property you ask us to appraise or that you are interested in buying or selling.
  • Enquiry details from forms you complete on this website, and from lead forms you submit through our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. When you submit one of those lead forms, Meta passes the information you entered to us.
  • Website usage information, such as the pages you view and basic device and browser data, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Document requests. When you register to download property or buyer documents, we collect your first and last name, mobile number, and email address. To deliver the documents and manage access to them, we also record your IP address and a device identifier linked to your request, along with which property or document set you asked for.

How we use your information

  • To provide a property appraisal you have requested.
  • To contact you about buying or selling property and to provide our real estate services.
  • To respond to your enquiries and follow up with you.
  • To send you market updates or marketing where you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
  • To send you documents you request, and to manage and secure access to them — including recognising the device you registered on, so that a link shared with someone else prompts them to make their own request.
  • To meet our legal and professional obligations as a licensed real estate business.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • The Ray White network. As part of Ray White AT Realty, we may share your information within our office and the wider Ray White group where it is needed to deliver our services to you.
  • Service providerswho help us operate — for example, website and database hosting and email or SMS notification providers — who handle information on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram).Where you submit a lead form through our ads, Meta’s handling of your information is also governed by Meta’s own privacy policy. Where you have agreed to receive updates from us, we may also share your contact details in a hashed (irreversible) form with Meta to include you in our marketing audiences, and to show relevant properties to you and to people with similar interests. You can opt out at any time.
  • Others where required by law, or to establish or protect our legal rights.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features of the site.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law and our professional record-keeping obligations. After that, we securely delete or de-identify it.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the information you share with us.

Children

Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
